I grew up in New York City as the son of Chinese immigrants who worked multiple jobs to keep our family afloat. Seeing that early struggle shaped the way I viewed money not as something flashy, but as a tool for stability, opportunity, and freedom. That drive pushed me to study finance and build a nine-year career across State Street, a hedge fund, Betterment, and the crypto industry.

I started teaching because most people want to invest but feel overwhelmed by noise, conflicting advice, and a lack of clear guidance.

My mission is to make investing simple, structured, and accessible so more people can build real long-term wealth and the financial security my own family never had.
